Scotty Jackson is the longtime head coach of the historic Queensborough Boxing Club, bringing decades of high-level pugilistic knowledge to the corner. Known for his old-school grit and deep-rooted commitment to the sport, Scotty has dedicated his life to passing down the “sweet science” to the next generation of competitive fighters and fitness enthusiasts alike. Under his guidance, the club operates out of the Fists of Fury Boxing facility, continuing a 70-year legacy that began in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Dennis Wolf
I started boxing at age 11, and at 15 began training in the Korean martial art of Hapkido, eventually earning my Second Dan black belt. During my service in the Canadian military, I trained in Devendo hand-to-hand combat.
In 1985, I began studying Brazilian Jiu-Jutsu with a strong us on mixeed martial arts (MMA). Over the years, I have trained boxers,kickboxers, and MMA fighters, and operated my own martial arts club in North Vancouver for 16 years.
I also adaptee Defendo techniques to make them more practical and effective for civilian self-defence. Throughout my career, I have instructed military personnel, police officers, and civilians alike.

Shahryar Khan
Kids & MRT Class Head Trainer
Shahryar Khan is a dedicated, highly energetic boxing instructor and active competitor registered with Boxing BC. As a vital member of the Fists of Fury Boxing Club coaching staff in Surrey, BC, Shahryar brings a unique blend of real-world ring experience, technical mastery, and structural discipline to the mats. He specializes in developing fundamental mechanics, physical conditioning, and personal confidence for boxers of all ages and backgrounds.

Youth & Kids Development: Shahryar leads the gym’s dynamic kids’ boxing classes. He focuses on teaching foundational footwork, proper hand positioning, defensive head movement, and basic combinations in a safe, structured, and highly encouraging environment.
Mental Resilience Training (MRT) / First Responders: He commands the specialized MRT classes, utilizing high-intensity boxing conditioning to build mental toughness, stress management, and physical endurance for individuals working under high-pressure scenarios.
Technical Fundamentals: Emphasizes the importance of defensive integrity, fight pacing, and the correct utilization of mandatory protective gear like custom mouthguards and 16 oz training gloves to ensure safety without compromising intensity.
